Dennis Wood was born in Bradford, West Yorkshire in 1947.

Whilst at Bradford Art College he learned how to use alternative forms of art and think in an abstract way. By learning how to eliminate detail and apply abstract principles to almost anything, he has been able to achieve his aim of stimulating vision rather than simply satisfying established conventions of taste. The result is an encapsulating image of colour, power and movement. His paintings will take you on a visual journey of the kind it is difficult to find in less accomplished work.

His paintings are now collected with great enthusiasm throughout Britain and can be seen in many collections in Europe, Canada and the U.S.A.

A Dennis Wood piece is sure to be a stunning focus within your home, which will undoubtedly be the envy of all your friends.

"I paint until I drop! If I'm on form and I'm painting well I will paint for maybe 20 hours non-stop - I always know when to paint and when not to. I never plan a painting; I just start out, explore the options and go for it. So I hope you enjoy my work..." (Dennis Wood)
